A group of DC WAIT Trainers traveled to Bridgeport, CT to give additional training to the Bridgeport WAIT Team. One half of the DC WAIT Trainers first arrived on Saturday afternoon, where they settled and met with the local team there. The other half of the DC WAIT Trainers were in New York giving a speech presentation at an arts festival workshop that Sunday morning. Both teams met together in Bridgeport on Sunday afternoon after some WAIT fundraising in Bridgeport had concluded.Then, the DC WAIT Trainers were videotaped by the Bridgeport team in order for them to learn from the dances and other acts through the video. The DC team also gave some guidance and training in the principles of practice and performance. The Bridgeport WAIT Team showed us their WAIT Team performance..Then on that monday, the WAIT Team was asked to perform for a group of college-age youth who were participating in a leadership workshop. A couple of the Bridgeport WAIT Team particpated in our performance, and it was widely received by the audience.
