In July 2009, eight WAIT team members from the US traveled to South Africa, a country that has been hard hit by HIV/AIDS. Going with a passion to learn about the situation of HIV/AIDS and what is being done about it, the WAIT team spent about two weeks in the country visiting Johannesburg, Cape Town, Soweto, Rustenburg, Limpopo, Lesotho and more.
